With delightful intricacies of form, coral is not only a critical component of ecosystems worldwide but is also stunning in and of itself.                                                                                                                                                               Undersea animals have surprising character - by species and sometimes by individual. Here I have tried to surface some of that in still photos.                                                                                                                                           Although reefs and oceans usually spark mential images of color and vibrance, sometimes black and white brings out more of a subject. Especially with foreign objects like wrecks. But the vibe with large creatures like sharks, grouper, and dolphin can often be 'right' as well.    Ocean animals can sometimes rival the gaudiest of birds with their form and color.
